I’m feeling very relaxed

Seven days with my family and then four days taking some time out on my own. I find holidays so reflective and always feel that I come back wiser than I went. How does that work if you are really relaxed and not thinking a great deal? Well think about it. No don’t - you don’t need to…that’s my point.

They were in a steady IT job, which was a relatively well paid permanent position close to home. Recently they had been head hunted by another organisation who wanted them on a temporary contract for a few months. The upside was that this meant that they had the opportunity to earn twice or possibly three times their current salary and the work that they would be doing sounded really interesting. The downside was that it meant additional travelling and was far riskier than their current role in terms of continuity of employment.

There are also the less frequent big decisions covering something like a relationship or career move. Do you have a particular strategy that you apply to making decisions?
