Is there something that you would like to change? It could be your career, starting a business, fixing a relationship, changing your behaviours or increasing your general well-being? Coaching is a great way of helping you or your business transform and grow. Life Coaching can help you define what you would like to change and develop confident plans based upon grounded decisions considering the areas in your life or business that are most important. It provides you with the tools, support and accountability you need to help you move forward.

I started my coaching career within corporate organisations. I was professionally trained to coach managers perform better and work through challenges. During that time, I was having some serious challenges with work-life balance so I got some support from a Life Coach. Within a few sessions my life was transformed. I was that impressed with the results that I started doing coaching on a voluntary basis helping people get back into work. That transcended into a business that I have now been running on a part time basis for a number of years.

It is seriously fulfilling helping people tranform and grow. I have kept my day job, which brings me in a good regular income and I supplement that with a moderate amount of coaching on evenings and weekends. An experienced coach earns more money part time than the average person does full time just by working a handful of hours. The additional income can help pay off your mortgage, give you financial freedom, take luxury holidays or pay for stuff that you may not be able to afford with your day job. It is surprisingly quick and low cost to get started.

I run my business from behind my laptop or iPhone (literally). I do a little face to face work with people, but mainly I coach via Skype or telephone. That means that I can pick up my business and work from anywhere. I don’t think I would be up for coaching on a full time basis, but the balance I have now is superb.

If you have toyed with the idea of becoming a coach yourself then please get in touch. I will be happy to have a chat with you about training options and what’s involved. It’s very hard to get started and attract clients in the first instance for most people, but once you know how and get rolling your coaching practise really is a great asset both financially and in terms of your own self fulfillment through helping others.
