Creating a New Business

Many people are now complementing a full or part time job with an income stream from a small business such as Coaching or Property Development. This can provide a "top up" income that can be used in a range of areas including home improvements, paying off your mortgage early, supporting your children's education or enabling more holidays. Many people want to move into business on a full time basis, but start things gradually alongside an existing job in order to manage the risk.
I will work with you to reach a position where you are confident that you have given this decision an appropriate amount of thought and challenge your views, beliefs and assumptions. Going into business should not be taken lightly, but if you work hard and focus your energies the rewards can be great. A good carpenter measures twice and cuts once. It is important that your goals and plans are well thought through before you begin investing time, energy and money to create yourself a better future.
Transforming an Existing Business
I can provide you with coaching to transform an existing business. The coaching programme provides you with a series of focused sessions where you will review your business goals, operations and how the business fits with the rest of your life.
Many business owners are guilty of being too busy doing "stuff" and not giving the business goals and approach the "focus" they deserve. If you run a small business you may want to ask yourself the following questions:
- Should you be more specific about what you need to be achieving and by when?
- Do you need a plan that shows how you are going to achieve your goals?
- Is there an imbalance with the amount of time you are investing into your business compared with other areas of your life?
- Do you want to spend some quality time "thinking" about your business in a structured way in order to understand what needs to be changed to make it more effective?
- Do you want somebody with experience to challenge your approach and hold you to account for completing key actions that will make you and your business more effective?
- Do you spend too much time "busy" and not enough time "focused" on your business?
- Do you have some personal challenges that are compromising your performance running your business?

Business Coaching gives you real insight into where your business is now, where you need it to be and then how you are going to transform it. Business Coaching and Executive Coaching are not about giving you advice.
